Tim Ives is a Brooklyn based Emmy nominated Cinematographer. Raised in Vermont, Tim began his career in New York in the mid 90’s filming Music Videos for influential artists such as The Beastie Boys, Pink, Sheryl Crow, The Breeders, Patti Smith, Francois Hardy, The Dave Matthews Band, The Roots, Counting Crows, The Wallflowers and Tony Bennet among others. From there Tim’s work expanded to commercials, TV and Film. Tim helmed pilots for the series Mr. Robot, Manifest and Blue Bloods. Directors Tim has collaborated with include; The Duffer Brothers, Roman Coppola, Thomas Kail, Daniel Minnehan, Albert Watson, Robert Frank, Lena Dunham, Christophe & Michel Gondry, Kelly Fremon Craig, David Frankel, Lesli Linka Glatter and more.
Tim is currently in production on the 20th Century film STICKSHIFT, wrapping June ‘24.
